These terms cover your use of asla.ai, operated by Lan Doan under the name Asla. By using this site, you're agreeing to them.

What this site is

Asla is a self-coaching brand: writing, free reflection tools, and a path into The Reset, our guided self-coaching product. The Reset is sold on this site, and the course itself is delivered at reset.asla.ai under that site's terms of use.

Using this site

You're welcome to read, use the free tools, and subscribe. We ask that you not scrape, resell, or misuse the site or its content, and that you not use it in any way that's unlawful or that interferes with other people using it. This site is intended for people 18 and older.

The content and the method

The writing, the method explanations, and the free tools on this site are Asla's, and we've written them ourselves. You're welcome to quote or share them with attribution to Asla. You may not reproduce them wholesale, claim them as your own, or use them to build a competing product.

Not therapy, not medical advice

Asla's tools and coaching are not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional mental health care. If you're in crisis or dealing with something that needs professional support, please seek it. Nothing on this site should be read as a diagnosis or treatment plan.

The free tools

The reflection tools on this site (like the question tool) are meant to help you think, not to give you an answer. Some tools use an AI model to generate a response based on what you share. The output is a starting point for reflection, not a definitive answer. We don't guarantee any particular outcome from using them.

Buying The Reset on this site

The Reset can be purchased on this site at /buy-reset for a one-time payment of $29 USD. Sales tax may be added at checkout depending on where you are. Payment is taken at the time of purchase, there is no subscription and no recurring charge, and access to the course is granted to the email address you enter at checkout.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. This means Paddle, not Asla, is the seller of record for the transaction: Paddle takes the payment, appears on your card or bank statement, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt or invoice, and processes refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

You can request a full refund within 14 days of your order, no reason required, and we do not revoke your access if you do. See our refund policy for how to request one.

We may suspend or end access where there is material breach of these terms, a chargeback or non-payment, fraud or security risk, or repeated misuse of the service.

Using the course, and 1:1 calls

The purchase happens here, but the course itself is delivered at reset.asla.ai, and your use of it, including account and access terms, is covered by that site's terms. Booking a 1:1 call happens through Calendly and is subject to Calendly's own terms for scheduling.

Third-party services

This site uses Lovable Cloud (Supabase, email), Paddle (payments), and Calendly (scheduling). We aren't responsible for the practices or availability of these third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

No warranty

This site and its content are provided as is. We don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Asla and Lan Doan aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
